Organizing the Second International Congress “Children in ICT”
Once the I International Congress “Children in ICT” is over, and after a brief period of reflection that has helped us evaluate the results, we want to move forward on this same line of work with a very clear objective: to promote a culture of responsibility to allow younger people to benefit from ICT without risks.
The first Edition was a great challenge for us and the results were very satisfactory: a high participation has been achieved, reaching a large number of professionals in education and politics, and the visibility and impact obtained in the Press and Media have been highly positive.
Together we have been able to create a space for debate and communication that has allowed us to better know both the change in social behaviour associated to the latest technological changes, and the cross-cutting nature and globality of the Internet and the ICT, in both its benefits and its risks.
We do not want to miss the good results obtained in this first edition and, following this same line of work, we pose a new challenge: organizing the second edition of the Congress to be held in 2010.
As in the previous edition we will be briefing on the progress made through this page, where you will soon find updated information.
We hope to meet you in 2010!

Después del gran interés que ha supuesto el I Congreso, estaremos muy pendientes de la organización del II Congreso a finales de octubre del 2010.
Tanto mi compañera de viaje como yo, somos profesionales que trabajamos con jóvenes en Justicia juvenil en Barcelona y estamos investigando sobre la influencia de las TIC en el ámbito judicial. Y ahora que empezais a definir las línias temáticas en vistas al proximo congreso, sería interesante tenerlo en cuenta para poder abordarlo en la próxima edición.
En ese sentido tanto mi compañera como yo estaríamos interesadas en participar activamente en el II Congreso.
